Beats and Pokémon Team Up for Special-Edition Beats Pill Speaker
Apple's Beats brand has officially unveiled the new Pokémon Beats Pill, a special-edition wireless speaker created in partnership with The Pokémon Company International. Launching this Thursday, October 15, for $149.99, this limited release brings iconic Pokémon artwork to a powerful portable audio device.
What Is the Pokémon Beats Pill Speaker?
Following a hype-building teaser yesterday, Beats and The Pokémon Company International officially announced their new crossover hardware. The centerpiece of this collaboration is a custom Beats Pill speaker decorated with exclusive character graphics on the front grill. Fans will spot Pikachu and Mimikyu prominently displayed across the front sound mesh.
The speaker maintains the sleek overall profile of the standard Beats Pill line with a subtle gray body and matching gray grill. To make this release extra special for collectors, every package includes bespoke Pokémon charms. These accessories feature a classic Poke Ball, the legendary Beats "b" logo, and Pikachu's signature lightning bolts.
This unique release marks an exciting moment for both tech enthusiasts and pop culture collectors. According to official leadership from Beats, the partnership was designed to celebrate the passion of the global Pokémon community through high-quality audio equipment.
"Pokémon Trainers are some of the most passionate in the world, and we saw an opportunity to channel that energy into something fun, unexpected, and created especially for fans," said Chris Thorne, Beats CMO. "This collaboration unites two brands rooted in culture, giving fans a new way to express their love of Pokémon through sound."
Key Hardware Specifications and Features
While the exterior design gets a major visual upgrade, the internal technology remains as capable as ever. The Pokémon Beats Pill matches all the top-tier hardware performance features found on standard Beats Pill models. It balances long battery life with durable outdoor protection and versatile audio options.
Here is a breakdown of what the special-edition Beats Pill speaker offers:
- 24-Hour Battery Life: Enjoy up to 24 hours of continuous wireless audio playback on a single charge.
- IP67 Dust and Water Resistance: Built to withstand tough environments, protecting your speaker against dust ingress and water exposure.
- Lossless USB-C Audio: Connect directly to a digital audio source via USB-C to experience high-fidelity lossless audio output.
- Reverse USB-C Charging: Use the internal battery of the speaker to charge up compatible mobile phones on the go.
- Dual Speaker Pairing Modes: Wirelessly link two Beats Pill units together in Amplify Mode for synchronized sound or Stereo Mode for dedicated left and right audio channels.
Whether you are listening at home or bringing your music outdoors, these technical specifications ensure reliable performance. The combination of water resistance, long battery life, and portable power bank functionality makes it a complete portable sound solution.
Where and When to Buy the Pokémon Beats Pill
The special-edition Pokémon Beats Pill speaker officially launches on Thursday, October 15. It retails for $149.99, matching the standard price point of other current Beats Pill color variants.
Availability for this special release is limited to three specific regional markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, and China. Depending on your location, you can purchase the speaker through designated retail outlets:
- United States: Available online and in select physical stores via Target, as well as on Apple's official website.
- United Kingdom: Available through Argos (online and select locations) and Apple's official website.
- China: Available through Douyin and Apple's official website.
Why Fans Are Excited for This Apple Beats Collaboration
This special release highlights how modern technology and global gaming culture continue to blend together seamlessly. By pairing Pikachu and Mimikyu with high-quality Bluetooth speaker hardware, Apple's Beats brand delivers a product tailored directly to fan enthusiasm.
Because pricing is set at $149.99, buyers receive all the unique custom artwork and bundled charms without paying a markup over standard models. However, due to its limited regional distribution and high collector appeal, inventory may sell out quickly after launch.
