Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days (frequently called October Prime Day) is rapidly approaching, bringing huge savings across Amazon's complete lineup of proprietary hardware. It serves as an ideal opportunity to check off early holiday gift lists and equip your home with upgraded smart devices at fraction of their typical prices.

It makes complete sense that Amazon reserves its biggest price drops for its own family of products. After Amazon unexpectedly chose to jack up prices across its hardware range last month by as much as 60%, these early promotional markdowns arrive at an ideal moment. Taking advantage of early October Prime Day Amazon device deals lets savvy shoppers lock in pre-hike pricing and enjoy substantial savings ahead of the formal rush.

With only a week remaining before Prime Big Deal Days kicks off, early discounts are rolling out rapidly. While Kindle e-readers have not received price cuts yet, Echo smart speakers and smart displays are now officially discounted. You can save up to 50% on the popular Echo Dot, while newly updated releases like the Echo Dot Max and high-fidelity Echo Studio also feature huge discounts. Additionally, buyers can find impressive sales across Fire tablets, Blink security cameras, Fire TV streaming sticks, soundbars, and eero mesh WiFi equipment.

Beyond physical hardware, Amazon has launched its popular early subscription offers for both new and returning members. You can secure three free months of Kindle Unlimited, get four months of Audible Standard for 99 cents per month, or claim four free months of Amazon Music Unlimited. Remember that you must hold an active Prime membership to unlock the deepest discounts, so be sure to sign up before shopping.
